He attended Blue Valley School through the 8th grade and graduated from Nelson High School in 1941. After graduating, he was a tool salesman in Omaha. Keith enlisted in the Army Air Corps on February 23, 1943, and was discharged February 7, 1946, as an Aerial Engineer.
After his discharge, Keith spent several years in Sun Valley, California, working as a parts manager for Commercial Brake Services, Inc. He moved to Oak in 1990.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #187 in Nelson. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert of Amarillo, Texas, John of Oak, Nebraska and Clayton of Ft. Worth, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Albert (Helen) Ahrens of Nelson.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2002, at the First Community Church in Oak with Pastor David Sellers and Pastor James Dresser officiating. Interment with military rites by American Legion Post #187 and V.F.W. Post #7197, both of Nelson, was in the Oak Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Doug Corman, Mike Corman, Scott Corman, Dennis Lipker, Jim Corman and Denis Moore.
