Hubertine "Hubie" (Ross) Duncan was born 23 Dec 1926 to Wayne and Geneva (Morgan) Ross. The family home was in Caney, Montgomery County, KS. She attended high school and junior college at Ursaline Academy in Paola, Kansas and George Williams College in Chicago, Illinois. She married Richard W. Duncan on 10 Oct 1953. They had 2 daughters, Diane and Candis. Hubie was active in the YMCA programs, League of Women Voters, Girl Scouts USA as a troop leader, a founding member and membership chairman of the Tinley Moraine Genealogy Group, and the Tinley Park Park Dist. as an adult program instructor.
