Mayfield, Ky., Jan. 9 -- Lucien Carrico, a prominent citizen of Fancy Farm; Graves county, died suddenly Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock. Acute indigestion caused his death.

Land Owner of Fancy Farm


Lucian Carrico, one,of the leading citizens of Fancy Farm, passed away at his home Wednesday morning at five forty o'clock, death being due to acute indigestion.

M.r Carrico was apparently in the best of spirits Tuesday night and did not seem to be in ill health whatsoever but early In the morning he had an attack of indigestion that proved fatal.


The deceased was a most prominent figure in farming and business circles in the west part of Graves and Carlisle County and was a heavy owner. Mr. Carrico Is survived by a wife and two children, Clarence Carrico and May Carrico. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two brothers, Sam Carrico, of this city and Joe Carrico of Fancy Farm.



Mr. Carrico was fifty eight years and two months of age and was one of the best liked and highly respected men of this county and had a host of friends who will be shocked and greived to learn of his sudden demise.


The funeral will occur Thursday morning at nine thirty o'clock and be conducted by Father Haeseley of the St. Jerome Catholic Church Fancy Farm. Interment at the family cemetery.
