February 4, 1850, in London, England, daughter of James and Elizabeth Matthew Sugden. In 9 May 1881 she
married Joseph Adams(second wife)and in 1886 came to Utah as an L. D. S. Convert, making their home in Ogden, where she had resided ever since. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs,Bruce Charlesworth; one son, Ernest D. Adams; 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Orseri Winters, Sage, Wyo.; two brothers, Frank Sugden, Salt Lake City, and Joshua Sugden, Billings, Mont. Services for Mrs, Adams will be held at two o'clock Sunday in the Malan funeral home, with Bishop Horace E. Garner officiating. The
body may be viewed at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Charlesworth, 204 Thirty-fifth street Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday until one o'clock. interment will be made in the Ogden City Cemetery.
