Mrs. Geraldine Hooper of Todd passed away on Thursday 31 Mar 1955, at 10:30AM, at the home of her son, Edward Hooper, of Todd. She had been ill for two years.

The deceased was born at Cooks on 19 Nov 1875, a daughter of Lemuel & Mary Ann (Parks) Lane. She was united in marriage to Joseph Hooper.

She was a member of the Trough Creek Methodist Church at Todd. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hooper, a patient at the Wernersville State Hospital, and children: Edward Hooper and Mrs. Samuel Buck, both of Todd, Elmer Hooper of Robertsdale, Mrs. Vincent Senft of Saltillo; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers also survive: Walter Lane of Lewistown, and Charley Lane, of Bellwood.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2PM at the McClain Funeral Home at Cassville. The Rev Samuel Kissel will officiate and interment will be made in the Trough Creek Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 4PM, Saturday, and until the hour for the services on Sunday.
