Allston Haltom
Allston Haltom, 87, of El Dorado, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born Sept. 20, 1917, in Waldo, he was the son of Enoch Haltom and Anna Mosely Haltom. He was a self employed truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Francis Haltom of El Dorado; one brother, Henry Haltom of Magnolia; two sisters, Mary Alice Anaya of Corpus Christi, Texas and Gladys Goins of Seattle; eight grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, at Young's chapel with the Rev. Don Travis officiating. Burial will be in Elliott Cemetery near Stephens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors of El Dorado.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
