Carma Oliver passed away peacefully on April 23, 2008, in her care home, in Tucson Ariz., after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She is now healed and with the Lord. Carma was a loving mother and grandmother, and was loved and adored by family and friends alike. She will be greatly missed.
Carma resided in Las Cruces, N.M., from 1988 until recently, and in Ruidoso, N.M., from 1973 until 1988. She was born in Lubbock on June 27, 1950, to William and Betty Bussell. She was a graduate of Coronado High in Lubbock and attended New Mexico State University. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Bussell.
Carma is survived by her children, Jennipher of Tucson, Ariz. and Joseph of Ruidoso, N.M., and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at First Baptist Church, 106 S. Miranda, in Las Cruces.
