Owen was the sixth of eight children born to Mary Etter (Cravens) and Joe C. Bryant. He married Mildred Miller. They had two daughters, Sheila and Sharon.
After the death of Owen's mother in 1921, his father remarried and had four more children. The first of those was my mother. Owen is my uncle.
In order of birth, the children of Joe and Mary Etter Bryant: Emmer, Marvin, Nora, Effie, Nona, Owen, Arthur and Lucian.
Then the children of Joe and Mae Bryant: Mary Walker, Hazel, Helen and Pauline.
