A good woman's long and severe suffering was ended when on last Tuesday evening Mrs. Samuel Giebner, four miles south of town departed this life at the age of 57 years. Her affliction started with a paralytic stroke several years ago which materially enfeebled her condition and a subsequent one less than a year ago rendered her almost helpless and a severe sufferer. For the past month she has been a great charge. As a kind neighbor and affectionate wife and mother she leaves a vacancy that cannot be filled. Since young womanhood she has been a member of the M. C. Church. The funeral services occurred on yesterday (Thursday) at 2 p.m., conducted by Revs. Farrell and Turner at the Zion Church. Interment in the adjoining burying ground. Besides a husband deceased leaves 10 children, as follows: Mrs. Mary Cozad, of Petersburg, O.; Elmer Giebner, Worth Township; Harvey, Robert, and Mrs. Clayton Armstrong, Sandy Lake township; Mrs. Charles Miller, Jackson township; Lucy, Samuel, Wesley and Frank still on the old homestead. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Sarah Ann Henderson, aged 80 years, one brother and three sisters.
