Izora Margret Castleberry Grider, 91 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born in Hemming, Texas to the late William (Bill) Alexander and Mary Robertson Alexander on December 15, 1916 in Hemming Texas. Izora was raised in Mountain Springs, Texas. She came to Marshall County after marring Ben Castleberry. They owned and operated Castleberry Feed Store in Madill. Izora also worked at Red Bud grocery store until it was bought by Winn Dixie and she worked for them for 15 years until she retired in 1980.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Castleberry; Grandson Chad and wife Mika, Madill; Granddaughter Andrea Castleberry, Madill; Daughter-in-law Charlene Hightower, Ardmore; 4 great-grandchildren.
Izora was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 4 brothers, 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be January 8, 2008, 10:00am at Cumberland Cemetery, Cumberland, Oklahoma under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.
