Berthelsen--Andrew Enevol Berthelsen, 75 years old, died yesterday afternoon at St. Mary's Infirmary after an illness of several weeks duration. Mr. Berthelsen was born in Tranumklit, Denmark, and had resided in Galveston for the past three years. He lived in this country since he was 17 years old. He was formerly a blacksmith, but in more recent years had acquired wealth in the oil business. He recently purchased a home at 1902 Broadway. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. A.H. Edling, Alvin, Mrs. H.C. McKinney, Mexia, Mrs. J.G. Sewell, San Angelo, and Anna Berthelsen, Galveston; two sons, Thomas B. and B.A., both of Houston; one brother, Chris Berthelsen of Beausmont, North Dakota; four sisters, Mrs. W.P. Willadsen of Hallock, Minn., Mrs. Marguerite Christensen of Sandy, Utah, Mrs. Lars Andersen and Mrs. A. Christensen of Warback, Neb. The body will be forwarded this morning at 6 o'clock to Mexia for interment under the direction of F.P. Malloy & Son.
