She was born May 6, 1920, in Stall, Mo., to Everette and Harriett Grace Clifton Neely. She married Clyde True. He preceded her in death. She then married Carl Wren. She later married Earl Shappard. He also preceded her in death.
Oma was a supervisor at the former East Moline State Hospital.
She was a member of Silvis Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Marvin (Linda) Wren, Moline, Orland (Julie) Wren, Moline, Allen (Sue) Wren, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Carl Wren Jr., East Moline; stepsons, Bruce Shappard, Silvis, and Brent Shappard, Port Byron; stepdaughters, Debbie Griffin, Fort Smith, Ark., and Sandy Leboy, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Baker, Imogene Bell and Mildred Casey; brother, Norman Neely. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mike Wren; sisters, Elveta Dolan and Genave Schoonover; and brothers, Alvin and Delman Neely.
