 Harry W. Grant, age 60, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born on September 23, 1960 to the late Harry (Iniz) Grant and Donna (McGlaughlin) Grant.

Family will greet friends on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N Central Ave, Utica, OH 43080, from 2:30-5:30pm. A service will be held at 5:30pm at the Church with Brian Coscia officiating and military honors will be rendered by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.  

Harry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Gale (Dixon) Grant; children, Mandy (Ken) Peters, Taryn (Dustyn) Oler, Alysha (Bill) Carson, and Taylor (Jacob Carver) Grant; grandchildren, Brant, Tinley, Kennedy, Kaden, Kassidy, Camryn, Caleb, Joey, Avery, Jazlynn, Ryder, Izzy, and Oliver; sisters, Anna Grant and Linda Grant; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Dixon; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Melissa) Dixon; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Aaron), Josh, Jonathon (Crystal), Tim, and Kaeli (Lawrance); many great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bill Carson, Tyson Williams, and Travis Johnson. 

Harry graduated from Licking Valley High School and proudly served his country as a member of the US Army. He worked for R.R. Donnelley for many years as a pressman. In his free time, he enjoyed dirt track racing, music, fishing, and golf. He also loved to travel, work on cars, and help others. More than anything, Harry loved his family. He was an active supporter of the AA and was dearly loved by his friends and family.
