Mary Meredith, 82, of Broadview Avenue, died Tuesday afternoon in the Wishing Well Health Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1899, at Triune, Monongalia County, a daughter of the late Marion M. and Priscilla Bennett Gwynn.

Her husband, Robert C. Meredith, died in 1964. Survivors include four nieces and four nephews, Mrs. Lucian (Dorothy) McDaniel, Rout 5 Morgantown; Miss Diane Gwynn, Wheeling, Mrs. Claude (Mildred) McGhee, Kingwood; Mrs. Hugh (Eleanor) Gibson, St. Petersburg, Fla.; William Taylor, Austin Texas; Marsh Gwynn, Rochester N.Y.; Ralph Gwynn, Greensburg, Pa. Six brothers and to sisters are deceased.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of the Major William Haymond Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fairmont Chapter No. 34, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Fairmont Vilalge Garden Club.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. James B. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery
