Gayle was a dedicated worker at Mead Containers in Lewisburg for 26 years. She was loved by her coworkers and had a strong work ethic. She loved to travel with her belated husband of 41 years, Don Porter, who was in the military. She was a devoted member of Brown Teal Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville, TN. She loved cooking, reading, attending Gospel singings, and spending time with family, especially her great grandbabies. Her heart was for her family.
Gayle is preceded in death by her husband: Don Porter, her parents: Clark & Thelma Miles, as well as her brothers: Joe Miles, Ed Miles, Charles Miles, and Bobby Miles.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
