Thomas Gamache Smith died this morning at the residence of his aunt, Mrs. John Shaughnessy, 76 Garner Street, Cohoes, after a brief illness.
The deceased was born in Cohoes and always resided there. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Rhea Landry, his father, Richard Gamache and five aunts, Mrs. Shaughnessy, Mrs. William J. Higgins, Miss Elizabeth Smith, Mrs. Sarah Jameson and Mrs. Edward Healey.
The funeral will be conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the residence of his aunt, and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Agnes' Church where a requiem high mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Cohoes.
