Avise's career as a glass mold maker and skilled laborer was a testament to his dedication and hard work. Avise is survived by his sister, Zora "Tiny" Sims; his daughters, Tamara Allen and Carolyn Amerson; his sons, Brent Holden and Kirk Jackson; as well as his grandchildren, Delana Jackson and fiancé, Joseph Edwards; Griffin Holden and fiance, Monte Moraitakis; Courtney Amerson Durham; Ashlee Amerson; Gavin Jackson; Lukas Holden; and Tristen Amerson. His is also survived by his great-grandchildren Axton Edwards, Waylon Moratakis, and Jaxson Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Lou Jackson; his son Michael Holloway; his parents, Roy Rastee Allen and Oveder Benefield; and his brothers Travis Allen and Trenice Allen.
