Lehona Morris, 103, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 24,2024. She passed away peacefully at the Glenwood Healthcare Center. Born on Browning Lambert Mountain, she was the last surviving child of Rennie and Beulah Thomas Thorne. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Lehona was twice widowed. As a young mother in 1944, she lost her first husband, Edgar Jones, in a tragic accident. Her second husband of 53 years, Herbert Morris, passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Rita Jones Asbury, five grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness."
