James Orville Anderson, age 79, of Robbinsdale, passed away on December 19, 2023.

Jim was a US Air Force Veteran, where he served as a Russian linguist in Japan.

He was retired from his career as a senior designer at Seagate Technology. Jim enjoyed playing scramble golf with his sons and grandkids, fishing, cribbage, strumming his guitar, a hearty conversation, the Minnesota State Fair, the Vikings, the Twins, the Minnesota Gophers, and vacationing in Orlando with Barb.

Survived by beloved wife, Barbara; sons, Jim (Joan) Anderson and Christopher Anderson; grandchildren, Corey, Parker, Abbie, Kyle & Steph; great-grandchildren, Arora, Mila, Laine, Sam, Ivy, Fin & Archer; brothers, Wayne (Sandy) & Mark Anderson; sisters, Virginia Seaman and Penny (Tim) Foster.

Preceded in death by parents, Carroll Anderson and Hope Anderson Limmer; sister, Karen Schroeder; father-in-law Bob Anderson and mother-in-law Helen Anderson; Barbara's daughter, Christina; goddaughter, Angela Heinze.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery
