Larry Loval Sharp, 83, of Granbury, Texas went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 1, 2024. Larry was born on October 1, 1940 in Pampa, Texas to Hazel Vaun Sharp (nee Goodman) and Loval Lewis Sharp. He graduated from Littlefield High School in 1958 and went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas. He later earned an MBA from New Mexico State University. Larry joined the United States Air Force in 1962 and worked in Contract Negotiation. He retired from the military in 1982. After retirement from the USAF, Larry was a Contract Manager for Hughes Aircraft. He retired from there in 1994.

Larry married Jeanette St. Clair on August 25, 1962. They enjoyed traveling, RVing and spending time with family out on their land in Millersview, Texas. Larry was a proud member of the Rotary Club and was known for being an acute businessman in his many ventures.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Loval Sharp, and two sons, Calvin Lewis Sharp and Lloyd Ray Sharp.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Jeanette Sharp; his children Steve Sharp, wife Kim; Rodney Sharp, wife Rhonda; and Elizabeth Sharp Crabtree, husband Rick; grandchildren Amelia Reynolds, Marilyn Sharp Bolton, Jared Sharp, Meghan Crabtree, Calvin Sharp, Adam Sharp, Eric Sharp, Rebecca Crabtree, Matthew Sharp; and Larry's sister, Jana Drane, husband Stephen.

A memorial service will be held January 13 at the Millersview Baptist Church at 1 PM to be followed by a military burial at the Millersview Cemetery. A luncheon will be provided for friends and family at 11AM at the Millersview Community Center.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Granbury EMT, Eden EMT, and the Millersview Community.
