ETTA BEARD
May 15, 1870 ~ November 29, 1976
Etta Beard, 106, Haworth, died at approximately 6:30 a,m, Monday at her home near Haworth.
Born May 15, 1870 in Arkansas, she had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by one daughter, Roxie Hollins of Haworth; four sons, John of Ashdown, Ark., Roosevelt of Dallas, Tex., Jesse of Heath, Ark., and Carvin of Idabel, and a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for 12 noon Saturday in the Greenleaf Church of God in Christ, with the Rev. F. T. Pratt officiating. Arrangements and burial in the Della Simpson cemetery near Tom are under the direction of Blandon Westside Mortuary of Idabel.
