He grew up and attended schools in Moscow, later attending the University of Idaho.
Mr. Jacksha lived in Thorncreek before moving to Moscow and owned his own construction business until 1989. He was a member of the Home Builders Associatnio and Knights of Columbus. He was also active in Boy Scout leadership and community recreation activities.
Survivors include his wife, Rita; daughter, Julie Everhart of Post Falls; four sons, Jerry Jacksha in Oregon; and Jim, John, and Tom Jacksha, all of Moscow; a brother, Richard Jacksha of Lewiston, Idaho; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rosary will be today at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moscow. Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Moscow Cemetery. Short's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
