Bud Price, the 17 year old son of S.B. Price, was killed by a train, near Burr, post office Sunday. Young Price had been up the night before and sat down on the railroad track to wait for a friend and fell asleep. It was a loose engine which struck him, out he was on sharp curve and the engineer could not see him, because of a deep cut, until almost upon him and being a heavy grade made it impossible to stop. His whole body was considerably mangled, but not beyond recognition. The remains were laid to rest Monday in Elmwood cemetery.
