David "Danny" Cole Jr., 66, departed this life at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis, on Dec. 23, 2023.
Danny was born March 5, 1957 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Jerline Parker and David Cole Sr. He graduated from Anderson High School and served a brief period of time in the United States Army. He enjoyed construction projects, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
Danny is survived by his special mother Nora Boyd; daughters Tisha Cole, Kimberly (Michael) Cole, Nicha (Bryant) Coatie, Tiffany Cole, Jasmine Cole, Ty'Shay Austin; son Corey Hamer; sisters Immaculeen "Maggie" Davis, Ella (Michael) Cartwright, LaNelle (Richard) Booker; special sister, Noretta Boyd; brother Glenn Davis; special brother, Billy Boyd; aunts Dorothy McGrady, Minister Lardie (Mario) Elcock; uncles John (Annie) Jackson, Horace Jackson Jr., Sylvester Jackson, and Willie B. Jackson. 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St, with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
