"Kirk W. Elson of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away May 8, 1972. He was born and raised near Clio, Iowa, the son of Robert and Abigail Elson. He is survived by his widow, Ethel, and a foster son, Jim.

Mr. Elson founded the United Claims Adjusting Service, Inc. of Omaha and was president until his death. He had formerly been associated with the Burlington railroad. He was a member of the Centennial Masonic Lodge and Tangier Shrine Temple. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Master.

Remaining members of his family are three brothers, Harl of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Parker of Clio, Iowa, and Turner of Pasco, Washington; and four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Bettis of Pasco, Washington, Mrs. Hazel Nelson of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Leah Adams of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Mrs. Donabel Griffey of Kansas City, Missouri."
