Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and matriarch of our family, Jacqueline Nordquist Hatch, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Jackie was born in Salt Lake City on May 13, 1936 to Frank and Viola Walker Nordquist. She grew up in Garfield, UT with her parents and two sisters Joyce and Deanna (both deceased).

Jackie married Doug Petersen, later divorced. Together they had 4 daughters, Jana Jones, Calleen (Greg) Shiflett, Tammy (David) Pearce, and Penny (Randy) Backman. Married Clyde Taylor, later divorced.

Jackie married the love of her life, Charles (Chick) Hatch. They spent 29 happy years together enjoying time at the family cabin, their home in Yuma, and traveling and cruising with her sister, Joyce and brother-in-law Bart. She enjoyed family parties, dancing, bowling, playing bridge and golfing. She was an excellent cook and loved babies! She worked for Christiansen Diamonds for 30 years.

Jackie is survived by her husband Chick, daughters, nephew Cody Hatch and nieces Kit Catten (John) and Stacey (Brooks) Jones. 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sisters, brother-in-law, great grandson and many more friends and loved ones.

The family would like to thank Christie, Teresa and nurse Tia of Hospice for the loving care given.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where viewing will be held Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
