Maisie Seneca Mott, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 91. She was a resident of Plaquemine and native of Bayou Chene, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 11am until services at 12:30pm, conducted by Deacon Clint Hunter. Interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary at 2pm. Maisie is survived by her loving godchild, Diana Sanchez, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Jody" Mott; sons, Barry and Robbie Mott; parents, Frank and Nora Freyou Seneca; and siblings, Hayward Seneca, Hayzel S. Rome, Hester S. Hunter, and Howard Seneca. Special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice for their loving care.
