Mrs. Lova Eunice Ramos, 39, died at her home, southwest of Stillwater, Okla., July 19, 1936. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Marena church, the Rev. Elgin Smith of the Assembly of God church, officiating. Interment was in Marena cemetery under direction of Vincent Funeral Home.
Lova Eunice Battles was born at Marena, July 17, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Battles. She grew to womanhood in Payne county, and in 1926 was united with the Assembly of God church in Stillwater.
Miss Battles was married in 1932 to Justo Ramos. Following her marriage she resided in Pawnee and Fairfax until April of this year, when she moved back to the home place. Her father preceded her in death in 1925, and a sister, Ena, died in 1928.
Surviving relatives are the husband; a step-daughter, Carmaleta; her mother, Mrs. Maggie Battles, of Stillwater; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Skie, of Chino, Cal., and Mrs. John O'Lary, of Stillwater; four brothers, Bert, Noble, Sam and Seth Battles, all of Payne county.
