Marilyn S. (White) Spangler, age 84, of Bloomington, Indiana, formerly of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Richland-Bean Blossom Health Care in Ellettsville, Indiana. She was born March 26, 1939 in Spencer, Indiana to Virgil and Jessie (Lanier) White. Marilyn attended Spencer High School and retired from General Electric in Bloomington.

Marilyn is survived her children, Dianna (Rick) Shoemaker, Connie S. Felton "Stacy", and Gregory (Kelly) Warthan; grandchildren, Richard (Codie) Shoemaker, Lindsay (Nate) Hill, Loren (Angie) Mobley, Amy Felton, Elizabeth Warthan, and Christopher Warthan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was talented at interior decorating and landscaping. She enjoyed cultivating her flower gardens.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert White, Malcolm White, and Joseph White; sisters, Maurine Gentry, Helen Beaman Long, and Doris Jean Harris.

Funeral services for Marilyn will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer Indiana, 47460. Burial will follow at White Cemetery on White Springs Road.
