Unknown who his father was but likely a grandson of Daniel Colomy who married Alice Runnels of Durham who rsided in New Durham after the marriage. She was the daughter of Abraham Runnels aka Reynolds. The first Colomy in New Durham received his land there from Job Runnels of Lee. (Alice down the line married Daniel Colomy of New Durham and they were the parents of the other Abraham born 1784.)
