Frank was born on February 8, 1956, in Mt. Jackson, Virginia, and was the son of the late Preston and Mary Halterman Barb. He was a dump truck driver for over 19 years for Frazier Quarry, delivering stone to many new homes in the Shenandoah Valley. Frank enjoyed fishing and hunting. He always had a story about the deer, rabbits, squirrels, and other animals ready to share with anyone who would listen.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Barb; sons, Patrick Barb and wife Jessica, Wesley Barb, and wife Sheena; stepdaughters Rebecca Kime and Michele Heflin. Frank and Mary enjoyed seven grandchildren and looked forward to more to call him Paw Paw. He also is survived by numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his only brother, Cecil Barb.
Pall bearers are Chris Getz, Charlie Whitacre, Quenton Riggleman, Jay Robinson, Bert Layman, and Brian Layman. Honorary pall bearers are Patrick, Jessica, Wesley, Sheena, Rebecca, and Michele.
Arrangements are in the care of Dellinger Funeral Homes, Mt. Jackson.
