Kimbro McCrary, son of George and Valeria McCrary, was born December 19, 1892 at Albany, Missouri and departed this life at his home near Kent, Iowa, January 24, 1932, aged 39 years, one month, and five days. He was married to Miss Blanche Krauth of Massena, Iowa, September 29, 1915. To this union were born five children, Marlin, Ray, Joe, Iola, and Bernice. The latter preceded her father to the heavenly home in 1923 at the age of 3 years.

At an early age Mr. McCrary accepted Christ as his Savior and united with the Baptist church. Later he transferred his membership to the Christian church in Atlantic, Iowa of which organization he was a member at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow and four children; his father, George McCrary of Kirksville, Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. May Schopp, Mrs. Nellie Ikerd of Kirksville, Missouri, Mrs. Hazel McCord and Mrs. Maude Herbat of St. Joseph, Missouri, and one brother, Walter McCrary of Kirksville, Missouri.

Funeral services were held at the home January 26th at 10:30 conducted by Rev. Miss Ida I. Roberts, pastor of the Me. E. church. Miss Alice Peak sang "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," "No Disappointment In Heaven," and "Does Jesus Care?" The pall bearers were George Mullin, George Loony, George Bernhardt, Joe Rough, Ivan Moore, and E. G. Willis. Interment was made in the Victoria cemetery four miles south of Massena. Relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ikerd of Kirksville, Missouri.
