Viola was a loving wife, mother, granny and great granny, and loved spending time with her family. She was a life time learner, and taught both her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to read and write in cursive. Viola enjoyed cooking, and will be remembered for her great biscuits and gravy, and fried apples. She loved being outdoors gardening, and always got a little frustrated whenever the deer would feed in her garden. In her spare time, Viola enjoyed quilting, traveling, and watching some of her favorite shows like, Chopped, Pioneer Woman, and Young and the Restless, just to name a few. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, James and Lida Smith Davis, Viola is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Daugh H. Harris; 2 daughters, Carolyn Harris Higdon, and Linda Harris Dennison; and 2 grandsons, Dustin Cook, and Vincent Harris.
