She attended Marietta High School and was employed by numerous businesses in the area. She retired from Skuttle Manufacturing after 28 years of service in 1998. She enjoyed camping, hiking, square dancing, wood working, reading, swinging on her porch and tending to her flower beds. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Penny (Dan) Knecht, Van (Kim) Anderson and Clint (Marsha) Anderson; grandchildren, Kiley (Kristina) Anderson, Dustin (Natasha) Anderson, Zack (Megan) Grahame and Alexis (Jeremy) Sims; great grandchildren, Raelynn, Kizer and Corbin Anderson; siblings, Nyoka Sue Northover and Doug Duffey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Anderson who died September 13, 1996; a daughter, Pamela Hollen; brothers and sisters, Frieda, Fred, Sandra, Omi, Clark, Billy, Hope and Vivian.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Marietta Memorial Hospital-2West Pod A and the Amedisys Care Team. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
According to her wishes, Bobbie will be cremated and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements.
