Fred Beatty Larue was the son of Thomas Beatty Larue and Mary Margaret (Casto) Larue. He was the grandson of John Henry Larue and Elizabeth Babb (Carlisle) Larue - thus the Carlisle Cemetery connection.
Fred married Ella Grace Goodwin about 1908. She was the daughter of Ira and Lizzie Goodwin. They farmed next door to Fred's father in the Salt Springs area of Greenwood County, Kansas (Rural Route 3, Toronto, Woodson County was the mailing address there), until Fred bought his own barber shops first in Florence, Fremont County, Colorado, and later in Imperial County, California.
Fred and Ella were the parents of Howard Goodwin, Harry Caleb, Edgar Mason, and John Henry LaRue.
