"Mandy" is the daughter of John Wesley Hammonds and Mary Charlotte Reed. She married John Henry Yates on 26 Aug 1871 and they are the parents of John Thomas, Malissa "Lizzie" Jane Yates Tilley, Rosa, Mary, Gideon B, Joseph Henry, Nancy K Yates Dunlap and Minnie H Yates.
Mandy was admitted to the asylum in 1916 and died there 9 years later. Her daughter, Malissa, was admitted to the asylum in 1918 and died here the same year. She, too, is buried in the asylum cemetery.
Mandy's daughter, Mary Louise Yates Tilley is also buried here.
