HODGENVILLE – Catherine Jeffries Bingham, age 87, a native of Green County, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Tender Touch Assisted Living in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church and was a housewife who loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bingham; her parents, Lemon and Dixie Pierce Jeffries, a brother, Billy Jeffries; two sister-in-laws, Linda Jeffries and Mayola Jeffries; and a brother-in-law, Howard Henderson. She is survived by two sons, a sister, three brothers, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro.Todd Milford officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
