Amoline (Amy) Moore Emert, 81, of Morristown, born June 7, 1940, and formerly of the Flatwoods Community of Lee County, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday March 4, 2022. She was a graduate of Flatwoods High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Emert; parents, Ransom and Doris Moore; sister, Annie Mae Moore and an infant sister.
She is survived by three sisters, Josephine Moore of Morristown, TN, Georgia (Jack) Shields of Sevierville, TN and Lucy(Pop) Conley of Rose Hill, VA.; three brothers, Lonnie Moore, Robert (Pat) Moore both of Rose Hill, VA., and Charles Moore of Jonesville, VA.; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of many relatives and friends.
Private graveside services were held Thursday, March 10, 2022, in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Pastor Robert Moore officiating.
Allen Funeral Home of Morristown assisted the family.
