Arlene Kay Allen Olsen, 52 died February 27, 1984, at her home after a long fight with cancer.
Born April 2, 1931, in Bicknell, Utah to Paul Knowlton and Ella Baker Allen. Married Raymond R. Olsen July 26, 1947, in Salt Lake City. Member, L.D.S. Church.
She will long be remembered by her talents in painting, handwork and many more. Owned and operated her restaurant for four years. Associated with Diversifed Foods and Tampico Restaurants, Inc. for 23 years.
Survivors: Husband, Kearns; son and daughter-in-law Shauna Olsen, daughter, Karen Eberhardt, grandchildren, Kay Ann, Jeffery, and Cynthia, all West Valley City; mother, Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters, L. Royce Allen, Bennion; George B. Allen, Richfield; Paul T. Allen, West Valley City; Mark B. Allen, Elsinore; Frank B. Allen, Sandy; Steven W. Allen, Cleveland, Utah; Mrs. Fred (Veda) Manos, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Michael (Faun) Zetterquist, Sandy; Gayle Sexton, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by father, sisters and brothers, Mrs. Eva Johnson, Maud, Spencer, and Robert.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, in the Kearns 1st Ward Chapel, 4575 West 5415 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, and Thursday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial, Valley View Memorial.
