George Brent Allen, 76, passed away January 3, 2016 in Richfield. He was born December 23, 1939 in Bicknell to Paul K and Ella Baker Allen. He married Bonnie Jean O’Neill, June 19, 1959 in Ely, Nevada. The marriage was solemnized April 15, 1967 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death June 4, 2003. He married Jeane Greenwood Staples December 23, 2007 in Central Valley.

Dad worked as a truck driver for 57 years. He loved camping, 4-wheeling, working and just being busy. He remembered everything and had long stories he shared often. He left a special legacy of the importance and value of hard work.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dad had a special place in his heart for "his girls", his siblings and grandkids and great-grands.

We love you Dad and will miss you.

Survived by wife, Jeane; children: Brenda (Gary) Barney, Central Valley; Christine (Russell) Wanlass, Elsinore; Nancy (Boyd) Kennedy, Aurora; step-children: Natalie Manning, Richfield; Shannon (Kaprece) Staples, Central Valley; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Royce, Paul, Frank, Mark, Steve, Faun and Veda Sue.


Also preceded in death by: parents; sisters: Kay, Eva, Maude and Gayle; brothers: Spencer and Robert.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 4th Ward, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call Friday evening at the Magleby Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning at the church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
