SAN DIEGO --- Betty Evans Boone, pioneering woman lawyer wife,
mother, pet lover, archivist, genealogist; First UU Church 64 yrs; SD Lawyers Club, Born Baton Rouge, LA ; Centenary College (Shreveport, LA (BS '50); USD Law School (JD, '65). 2013 Women's Hall of Fame and 2015 County Bar's Service to the Legal Profession awards.

Married Elbert James "Jim" Boone, 1950 (d. 2013). Practiced law 1965 - 1982; county hearing officer 1982 - 1995. Survived by Evan and husband Carl (Portland, OR) and Karsten and wife Coletta (Temecula, CA).

Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 13, at 10 am, First Unitarian Universalist Church of SD, 4190 Front St. More Info:
