Ethel Grace Bosley Schell, 84, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (June 17, 2016) at the Genesis Madison Center in Morgantown, WV.
Ethel was born in Elk Garden, on Aug. 3, 1931, a daughter of the late Calvin Summers Bosley and Sadie Blanche Bosley. Mrs. Schell was preceded in death by her loving husband, Victor Thomas Schell.
Mrs. Schell was a dedicated homemaker all of her life. She loved to garden, crochet and cook big family dinners for all to enjoy. She treasured her neighborhood and the family-like atmosphere it provided.
Mrs. Schell is survived by her son, Thomas Bosley of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Vicki Lynn Patterson and her husband Terry and Elaine Sue Garrett and her husband Mike, all of Fairmont; five grandchildren, Autumn Lee Berry and her husband John of Alabama, Shelli Vanata, Jason Vanata, Mike Garrett and his wife Nicole and Josh (Doc) Garrett and his wife Melissa; seven great-grandchildren, Summer Grace Hill, Graci Garrett, Waylon Garrett, Ella Shay Garrett, Madison Lynn Vanata, Summer Grace Berry and Jonathan Andrew Berry Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Ralph William Bosley.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by her siblings, Oscar Bosley, Dulcie Marie Aronhalt, Fannie Bell Barrick, Emory Lee Bosley, Florence Ellen Bosley, Mable Louise Ryder, Luther Vernon Bosley, Ernest Melvin Bosley and Walter Raymond Bosley.
The family will hold private services at Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum in Fairmont with Ethel's nephew, Reverend Clifford Schell, officiating.
