Lenzie Blanton age 65 of Oil Springs, KY died Monday November 6, 2023. He was born November 14, 1957, to the late Claude and Wilma Godsey Blanton. On January 26, 1976, in Oil Springs, KY he married Debbie Bolin Blanton, who survives. Lenzie was a mechanic for the Black Hawk Mining Company. He is survived by one son: Elzie (Miranda) Blanton of Prestonsburg, KY, one daughter: Emily (Chris) Gardner of Louisville, KY, two sisters: Peggy Webb of Oil Springs, KY, Joyce Blanton Hager Hill, KY, four grandchildren Bella and Alexa Gardner, Aiden and Adelynn Blanton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday November 9, at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Charles (Bub) Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in the Angel Hill Cemetery at Oil Springs, KY.
