Kathryn Lee "Kathy" Hamlin Diliberto
Mooresville, NC -- Kathy, 49, passed away suddenly early morning on February 17, 2007.
Kathy, was born February 12, 1958 in Clinton, NY
to Don and Helen Hamlin who still reside there.
Kathy grew up in NY, graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1976 and Utica College of Syracuse University in 1980.
Kathy graduated with a degree in Child Psychology and worked for many years for the Association of Retarded Citizens.
After working for some other companies, Kathy then became the Executive Director of Parents Anonymous in NY.
Kathy met her husband Brian in 1988 and they married in July of 1989.
Together Kathy and Brian owned and ran several businesses including a pizzeria, a bagel store and Kathy owned her own resale clothing store.
Most recently, Kathy was working as a restaurant manager for Shomar's in North Carolina.
Kathy was a compassionate, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend,
who was always the first person to offer her hand and her heart to anyone in need.
Kathy's true passion was taking care of others.
She has made a profound impression in many lives during the course of hers.
Kathy will be remembered by all that knew her by her constant smile, her strength and her endless spirit.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Brian Joseph Diliberto;
her daughters, Courtney Briana and Tela Aanese Diliberto;
and stepsons, Bryan Joseph and Joshua Anthony Diliberto.
She also leaves behind her parents, Don and Helen Hamlin;
siblings, Donna Hamlin, Terri Hamlin, Helene Hamlin, Rick Hamlin, Susan (John) Nasci, and Nancy (Brad) Dunmyer;
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Ronald Kittner, Robert and Sharon Diliberto, James and Kerry Diliberto,
Kathy and Mark Dersham, and Mary Ellen and Dan Clausen;
and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Clinton, NY on February 23rd;
Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A prior memorial service was held on February 20th at Raymer Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC
