John Fremion, 78, of 404 Buell Drive, died at 12:15 pm Sunday at the Lawton Place Sanatorium, where he had been a patient since June. Death was due to a stroke.
A native of Fort Wayne, Mr Fremion retired 15 years ago after being employed many years at the Moellering Brickyard. His wife, Margaret, died 44 years ago.
survivors include two daughters, Mrs Frank Ormiston, RR 10 and Mrs Frank Allen, Fort Wayne; two sons, Frank and August; a brother, Levie; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Fort Wayne.
The body was removed to Jule Schone's funeral Home, where friends may call after 3 pm today. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, the Rev EH Lane officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - August 19, 1946
