Don grew up on the farm near Mahnomen MN. He was drafted into the Army in 1944, serving in the South Pacific in the Philippines Liberation and the Japanese Occupation. Don retired in 1981 after 30 years as a warehouseman for International Harvester in Minneapolis.
He is survived by daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Floeder and Cheryl Ali; brother David; grandchildren Sara (Hisham) Ismail, Melissa (Nathaniel) Dalbec and Matthew Floeder; great granddaughters Aramina and Evalyn Dalbec, and great grandson Mazin Ismail; many loving relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his mother Blenda, wife Helen and twin brother Donovan.
