2015. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and
great, great grandmother. She was originally from Vest, Kentucky and moved to
Indiana with her family as a teenager. Hazel was #3 of 11 children, a big and
wonderful family full of love, even to this day. She was employed by Western
Electric in Indianapolis, IN. until she got the call to be a stay at home mom. Hazel
spent most of her adult life in Plainfield, Indiana and later relocated to Bradenton,
FL. soon after her husband retired. Her family will miss her smile, laugh, but most importantly her love of all of us. She had a strong faith in God and we know someday we will be together again. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Maudie Dobson, 3 sisters, Katherine Casto, Claudia Mueller, Janet Jones, one brother, Mitchell Dobson, Jr., and one granddaughter, Christina Parkhurst. She is survived by her husband, Donald Morrison and children, Pam (Red) Parkhurst, Steve (Lyn) Morrison, Yvonne (Burt) Hair, Sandi (Mark) Donner, Dane (Lori) Morrison, and Kim (Dan) Metcalf. Grandchildren are, Shaya, Shawna (Victor), Chad Michael (Robin), Chad Lee, Nick, Michael, Burton, Carolyn (Tyler), Melissa, Jessica, Jason, Zach (Brittany), Ashley, Brad (Stacy), Brett (Morgan), Brandie, and Leland, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive. Hazel is also survived by siblings, Clydia Schuerman, Bradenton, FL, Maxine Lock, Daleville, IN, James Dobson, Bradenton ,FL, Robert Dobson (Betty), Rensselaer, IN, Joyce (Allen) Martin, DeMotte, IN, Bev (Gene) Wiseman, Rensselaer, IN. Services will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34207 in charge.
