Edward Lee (Ed) Baucom, 78, of Bryan, Ohio passed away October 20, 2023 at Hillside Country Living Center in Bryan, Ohio.
He was born August 9, 1945 in Lebanon, Ohio a son of Marshall Hill Baucom and Dorothy Elaine (Daugherty) both of whom preceded him in death.
On July 17, 1964 he married Susan K. Benner who preceded him in death on February 22, 1999.
He is survived by his life companion Jo Hageman.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Randy (Patti) Baucom of Lima, Michael (Renell) Baucom of Scottsdale, AZ and a daughter, Tina (Matthew) Hulbert of Van Wert, grandchildren: Kaleb Baucom. Chelsea Baucom, Hannah Braun, Jordan Baucom, Brooke (David) Mcmonigal and two great grandchildren, David Mcmonigal Jr and Carter Mcmonigal..
He is also survived by two brothers, Douglas and Mark and two sisters, Patsy and Brenda.
Preceding him in death are three brothers Jerry, Roy and Milton and three sisters, Joyce, Cynthia, and Faith.
Ed enjoyed listening to AC-DC and Journey. He was best described as being a happy, smiling man whose favorite things to do were mowing lawns and keeping his truck clean.
He had worked for General Electric Company for 24 years and had also worked at Chrysler Amplex for a time.
A funeral service for Ed will be at 12 noon Friday, October 27, 2023 at Brickner Funeral Home Van Wert. The family will receive those wish to pay their respects from 11:00 AM untill time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point, Ohio.
