"Armour-Vincent. Married on the 18th instant by the Rev. Mr. Keyes, Mr. George Armour, merchant of this place to Miss Augusta R. Vincent, daughter of George Vincent, Esq., of Vermillion precinct, in this Co." Published in the Ottawa Free Trader ( Illinois) dated 21 Mar 1845 (see photo).

I did not locate her on the 1850 census. However, on the 1850 Ottawa, Lasalle, Illinois census, I found John Armour, 39; Ann Armour, 63; construction contractor George Armour, 37, with $8K in real estate and Ann Armour, 28, all born in Scotland. The 1850 census did not record widowers.

"Agusta R. Vincent Armours's" marker is in the middle on the 4 sided obelisk. It is just above the base which includes Archibald and Robert Armour. The dates are not legible in the photo or on site.

"DIED, On Thursday morning, Augusta R., consort of George Armour, merchant of this place, and daughter of Mr. George Vincent, of Vermilion precinct, in this county. Her age was 22 years. The funeral discourse will be delivered by the Rev. G. W. Bassett at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Sabbath next, at the Mechanics' Hall." Published in The Ottawa Free Trader, Ottawa, Illinois, dated 26 Dec 1845, page 2 (see photo). Note: Thursday was the 25th.
