Heaven is brighter with the passing of Vernice Baird Bloedau (July 11, 1947 - October 15, 2023).

She was a woman full of grace who truly demonstrated God's love to every person she met.

She was awaited in heaven by her parents Vernon and Frances Baird, by siblings Clayton Baird, Carol Newsome, Jessie Baird, and Bonnie Pickens; by her husband Dennis Bloedau; and by her beloved daughter and granddaughter Debra and Jessica Winters.

Those she leaves behind to continue her memory include siblings Don Baird, Linda House, Frances Hays, Monda Collins, and Joe Baird; beloved daughter and granddaughters Laura Hunt, Carrie Winters, and Holly Colquitt; and great grandchildren Kylie and Cooper Sparkman, and Debra, Newell, and River Colquitt.

Vernice was guided to Heaven by her sweet puppy, Pudding. On Earth she leaves behind Beltre to guide the rest of us in her stead.

She has numerous in-laws as well as nieces and nephews that love her dearly both in heaven and on earth.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
